There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.

Strategic Management @ BYU Marriott · Provo, UT
Zach Mitchell
I'm a Strategic Management student at BYU's Marriott School of Business, graduating in 2028 and headed toward consulting and strategy. What I actually enjoy is getting underneath a problem — finding the constraint that's causing the symptom instead of managing the symptom itself. On my own time I build small local AI tools that track where my work is going and cut the busywork out of it.

What I've been building
What I am building right now. Both are in progress — walkthroughs are coming.
CrastinateIn progress
2026A semester drawn as heat, so the crunch shows up weeks before it arrives — and there is still time to even it out.
MastermindIn progress
2026A personal system that tracks where my time actually goes and clears the busywork out of the way — running entirely on my own machine.
I'm eager to join your team
I'm looking for consulting and strategy internships, graduating April 2028 — the kind of work that rewards digging past the symptom to whatever is actually causing it. Email is the fastest way to reach me, and my résumé is available on request.
